So much to do whether online or not. Even if you don't follow the storyline, theres strangers to help, random encounters to deal with, hunting to do, treasure to fine, money to gamble with, guns to buy, bounties to collect on and MORE. There is no shortage in this now Western classic. Sure to be inducted into the greatest games of all time list.

Reportedly over 170,000 photos of 1940's LA were used in re-creating the City of Angels at the time, and the effort can be seen as this is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric games ever made. Marine turned Cop Cole Phelps cruises the beat solving cases ranging from stolen cars and drugs, murdered women and arson cases. Limited in it's game play, but what it does offer is great.

Take the boss for another wild adventure, this time in Steel Harbor to battle Eurotrash gangsters, to Luchador Wrestlers and indulge in more insane activities including a TRON like cycle chase and even violent game shows. More of what Saints Row 2 gave you but with more insanity and a graphics face lift.

Get back on the streets with a full roster from wrestlers, karate fighters, boxers and others as you compete to stop M. Bison and SIN from trying to rule the world again in the process. A great addition to the Street Fighter line, but requires even more in depth analysis of it's engine and characters then ever before.
I was really off the Mortal Kombat radar for a while as I wasn't all that impressed with a lot of what I saw, but this game...a re-teling of the first 3 tournaments with a big characters roster and plenty of modes to play in. all the over the top blood, gore and fatalities are as bone snappingly great as they were the first time out and the STORY mode, is tremendous.

An old favorite comes out on the PS3 with that fresh trivia smell. Host Cookie blends all kinds of trivia and gives them a pop culture slant. It would have been nice for some different intros to questions, but the DLC questions and low price give you a trivia party that anyone can host. All you need is a bar.

More dark and less wacky then it's previous entries takes Eastern Bloc Niko Bellic to Liberty CIty in search of destiny and on a mission to find someone from his past. A true feeling of running around a real city makes this feel edgy but the game doesn't offer a lot in terms of activities or even easter eggs and on top of that, it's got an ending that makes you feel nothing got accomplished or that nothing will.

It's been too long since everyone's favorite team of paranormal ass kickers were together again, and all of them and a few more come together in this great game where you play a field tester of the team's new equipment andend up going along on all kinds of adventures using the proton pack, ecto goggles, slime thrower, meson collidar and more weapons to bust those ghosts.
I loved this game initially but did fall by the wayside with me cause of poor netcoding that made the game unpayable online at times, unfair matchups with far better players and balancing issues. Oh they tweaked this game for about $30 less then what this version cost, has more characters and backgrounds. Yeah, proof that you really got to play through a game even more to give it a proper review.

I can see why some people didn't care for this sequel, but I think what was lost was more then made for in what was added. Aldo's successor follows Michael Corleone's guidance to help take over New York and work with Hyman Roth to take over Cuba. Graphic's could have been a smidge better but this isn't as bas as you've heard.

If you ever plan on making a video game comeback, some of these games are a nice place to start.
Yeah, the shoto clones can be very annoying and online players spam them like hell. Yun and Yang are the games biggest problems though. Also, did you play Ninja Gaiden Sigma? If you haven't then I have a feeling you would like that one.

Dan is the only Shoto I like, cause he takes some modicum of skill to use and win with. Never played Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Dan is fun to play, I like using him. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a very challenging action game with some tough boss battles and good story. I recommend it and have the review right here. Also, the third sequel comes out I think in March. I will be getting it.
