I am not a huge fan of anime. I've seen a lot of it and have noticed many shows have similar plots like other live action shows do. If I had a list of some of my favorite anime shows, these would be it. IN NO PARICULAR ORDER
It's the wild west....in the future....with mutants and machines....and a guy in a red coat who causes destruction where he goes but is as peaceful as can be. What is his past? What has he done and why is he do daffy?

I'm a big Mobile Suit fan and this show man have only been 6 episodes, but it really packs a punch at it's conclusion. As the war with the Federation and Zeon draws to a close, a neutral colony in space becomes a battleground where a young boy becomes a part of the action.

I love this show as much as it's second season but I'll leave this show as the entry on the list with it's tales of a mysterious android girl who comes to the employ of a lone school student and his friends. Plenty of adventures and naughty humor.

Blues Brothers + anime equals this show. No really. Plenty of music with the three heroes trying to raise money for a concert dome and weird goings on, a lot like Excel Saga. Speaking of which....

Gee-zus is this show out there. The more of an anime fan you are, the more of it's injokes and references you can catch. Even if you aren't you can still enjoy the wonderfully bent and weird anime which lampoons war, sports, survival, music and other genres on it's quest to take over the world....of course.
