Whenever you hear "Bonds Equal" which they beat to death in many movies since, this is where it started from and it's a real injustice not many people acknowledge this. Her accent is a little clunky but she is a big part of the plot and she looks great.
Jane Seymour gets ridicule for being wimpy but Solitiare in the book wasn't all that much tougher. Very beautfiul with some fancy dresses to wear and some flavor added in with her psychic power makes her a cut above most other Bond Girls.
Maybe it's her beauty and that hair she has that earned her this place. Maybe it's cause shes a strong girl who is flawed and still needs help by Bond. Maybe shes another character who is central to the story and isn't complete baggage for Bond. Maybe it's the down to earthness with the looks that make her a winner. Much like with Anya, it isn't a flawed accent so much as the actress but the pluses outweigh the cons.
Some might call it a crime that she isn't at the top she is on here for many of the reasons Melina is. In fact all of them. Maybe people like her more for the fact that shes in a bikini for most of the movie. I just like Melina a little more is all. It's a personal choice. You get the idea that Honey is a tough and independent woman, but she ends up being baggage for Bond in the film, coming in the final reel and not being story critical.
Not strong, but not quite a damsel (not in the traditional sense) this lovely little thing from the other side of the Iron Curtain is Bond's contact and she falls in love in a pretty convincing way. Genuinely beautiful and charming, Tatiana doesn't get enough love from fans. She might be plain but I remember her more then some of the other girls from the series.
