Vampires. They are just too awesome to lose a war. Their powers are also varied, depending upon what legend you refer to, which is strength for warfare. Plus, I don't like zombies and werewolves as much, and humans are just too boring compared to the rest of the choices. Heck, plenty of humans would end up joining the vampires' side if given the opportunity I'm sure. :)

Humans, hands down.

For Werewolves their shifting ability is really a liability, even if they can do it at will and aren't restrained by the full moon. But they shift and what happens? They lose their ability to use their hands and communicate, plus they are vulnerable to silver to the extreme. This is an advantage? Humans have the proven ability to wipe out entire species of fur-bearing four-legged creatures without even trying.

Vampires, as much as I love them, have two hugely problematic vulnerabilities: For half the available combat hours they are dead to the world *and* they burn to a crisp when exposed to the sun. How long would it take for us to perfect an undead sensing GPS tracking system and blow the covers off their coffins? As long as we don't depend on AT&T for its development we could have global coverage inside a month. Besides, to the best of my knowledge most vampires are horribly technophobic. They wouldn't stand a chance against a unified front of human soldiers.

Zombies are just too stupid and slow (and gross!) to even be in the running. I cannot figure out how all these Zombie Apocalypses keep happening, ya know? Is there a world-wide shortage of ammunition? The world possesses the firepower to decimate the entire human population something like five times over. You'd think a staggering grunting brainless population would be no challenge at all.

Seriously, no one is better at developing weaponry, no one is better at wholesale slaughter and no one is better at committing acts of unconscionable treachery than human beings. The others wouldn't stand a chance.

i think this would be a showdown between fangs and fur in the end. Humans and zombies would both be out automatically and both for similar reasons actually....zombies lack the mental compacity to organize themselves at all and human wars are organized and waged by people who lack common sense and organization, they would be more concentrated on their own benefits instead of eliminating the actual enemy. so we are left with the vampires and werewolves. Vampires aren't necessarily the pack hunters that wolves are but i think they could come together for a cause. and both groups are limited by their own elements...full moons, sunlight ect. And as much as i hate to say it, werewolves might come out the winner because if vampires won, unless they kept humans around as cattle, what would they eat?

Humans would win the war because humans have no limitations as to sunlight and silver. But I have an easy solution, go to a bunker and nuke them all! LOL!
