I am currently reading the 7th book in this exciting series, All Together Dead. I hadn't even heard of this series until I watched the first 2 seasons of the tv show, TrueBlood, based off of these books. The tv show itself is captivating and I found myself wanting to know more, and I came across these books. The first two books are close to the tv series events, though different.
