You can't keep the Prince of Darkness down.

Count Dracula (Christopher Lee) is back drinking blood and being the scourge of the countryside in this sixth installment of the Hammer Dracula series.  Despite the low budget and sub-par effects, Lee delivers a commanding performance of the Prince of Darkness,  The tight and efficient directing from Roy Ward Baker along with a great helping of gore and sensuality make this film worth watching.  The Count's sidekick Klove (Patrick Troughton) is a eerie looking fellow who drips with sleaze and dirty deeds.  But he gets out of line of few times and Dracula has to put him in check.  One thing that made the film look cheap was that goofy vampire bat.  Other than that, I have to recommend this one for the gore, the good looking ladies and Christopher Lee,
You can't keep the Prince of Darkness down.
