Flor de Caña Rums are personal favourites of mine. They are produced by Compañia Licorera de Nicaragua in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua. They claim to own the world’s largest stock of aged rums, and the company is recognized for combining the latest distillation technology and craftsmanship in the selection of natural ingredients, slow-aging process, and single-aged blending of rums.

What I recently discovered though has me really excited! (Web Article Link)
I will not rewrite the entire article here but suffice it to say I am remarkably pleased that one of my favourite Rum Brands is also a leader in the world wide move to recycling and eco management. I just found another reason to enjoy Flor de cana!

Good stuff. I like me some rum. I love hearing companies using natural ingredients - great for everyone. I may have to partake some of this rum; for research, you understand.
