Bora Bora
"After Tahiti and Moorea, the Leeward Islands are the most visited part of French Polynesia, especially legendary Bora Bora. The scenery is superb, with winding coastlines and verdant volcanic peaks above the waterline and brilliant coral gardens and exotic marinelife in the lagoons." text from Moon Tahiti

Easter Island
Allow yourself enough time if you go to Easter Island. Travel agents often recommend three nights but five nights is the absolute minimum you'll require to experience this fabulous island. Once you're there, I recommend taking taxis to the ends of the roads and walking back along the coast. You'll discover lots of wonderful sites most visitors don't get to see. Better hurry up because …

Iguazu Falls
Majestic and totally awesome. The most powerful force of nature can be observed and challenged here. A boat cruise under the splash is one that you'll never ever forget! The heli ride over it is a must too!

Gaudi, Gaudi and more Gaudi! Been here 3x and would have loved to settle down here if I'm going to reside in Europe one day! What a beautiful and special city this is!

Bora Bora
Romantic... most romantic place to have honeymoon! I took the Air Tahiti Nui via Tokyo since it was a free flight. I do believe there are direct flights to Tahiti (capital of French Polynesia) and then air transfer from thereon. It's not easy to get to Bora Bora but it's definitely worth it. A haven for snorkeling and scuba diving!               …

Canyonlands
It is vast, expanse, a little remote and less well know. It can be all yours! You and the nature, at one, on your own in solitude. What a great feeling!      One of America's most spectacular national park! I had great fun driving around it!

Interlaken, Switzerland
Serenity... never feel more at peace with myself anywhere than Switzerland and Interlaken and the surrounding areas like Wengen, Murren are some of the best places to rest oneself and simply be. Lovely lakes and mountains. Jungfrau and the views from Schilthorn are simply unforgettable. Wish I have a chance to go back again right NOW!

Lake Powell
The Glen Canyon Recreational Areas and Lake Powell are simply awesome from the air. It was on a day excursion from Las Vegas to Monument Valley that I was greeted with the most incredible sights I've ever had the fortune to see on a flight (the other being an hour flight around Mt. Everest). Not many have seen the sights from the top but if you do get a chance, I highly recommend it to you. It's …

Canadian Rockies
Lake Morraine, Lake Louise, Lake Peyto, Columbia Icefield & Banff and all the nature's wonders are here. They can all be easily accessible from Calgary. A mere 2 hour drive. I've been here more than 3x and I don't think I'll ever get tired of it!

Forbidden City
The Forbidden City was the seat of Imperial power in China for more than 5 centuries. It was where the Emperors ruled and where every Chinese would want to pay pilgrimage to at least once in his/her lifetime, together with an excursion to the Great Wall of China. These are the 2 most magnificent man-made architecture in China. Both are huge and both plays a significant role in the …

Easter Island
This could well be one of the last few places on the planet Earth that I'm keen on visiting. The only trouble is that it's just too much of a hassle to go there (from where I'm right now)! Missed the chance to visit when I was in Tahiti, which is probably one of the best way to venture from.

Who knew that going underground could be a good thing? Carlsbad Caverns are simply beautiful.

Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon is one of those places that should be on everyone's "must-see" list. Why? Because unlike buildings and monuments, the Grand Canyon is a natural wonder.

Taishan (Mount Tai, 泰山)
This is one of the most tedious mountains to climb in China. However, it's also one of the easiest if you take the short-cut by taking the cable cars up instead! Still, there are some climbing to be done at the top but it is a lot easier than Huangshan (another famous mountain in China).    Personally, I find Huangshan a lot more interesting even though Taishan has its religious …

Taishan (Mount Tai, 泰山)
Renowned for its cultural importance and one of the 5 Sacred mountains in China, Taishan is famous for its awesome sunrise. Many hikers will climb the mountain from the base just before midnight and will reach the top just before the sunrise at 5+ am. It's not easy though and those who did it will only do it once (mostly).

Danxiashan Geopark
I didn't enjoy this geopark as much as I had the others which I visited in China. It took me about 45 mins by bullet train from Guangzhou to Shaoguan, another 1 hour by taxi from Shaoguan to Danxiashan. The park is scattered with many kinds of rocks, the main attraction for many is this:            and these:            …

Many of the restaurants are closed on Sundays. One that is open is Senyor Parellada. The food is simple and traditional, and quite good. It is inexpensive, and has a charming, bustling atmosphere. Be …

Interlaken, Switzerland
One of the best towns in Europe! If you're into extreme sports such as sky diving and para-gliding this place is for you. If you're into to just relaxing, walking through small Swiss shops and soaking up the beautiful Alps this place is for you! Trust me! Go when you can!
