Great list. Funny how Stephen King ranks with all those other "classics" writers. His earlier works were excellent horror tales but I'm not sure his prose were with the others listed.

Steve made my list based on his superlative creativity with horrors. No doubt, his prose weren't as good, but he managed to come in tenth. ....He is the first horror specialist to really captivate my attention and interest. ....I'm not into horror that much, but his works just seem to keep me reading.
