Marx's Communist Manifesto is a piece of political history. Though his political and economic policies were only possible during the era of the industrial revolution, it makes for an interesting read.

It is an excellent read, but it falls short on many philosophical grounds. The moral concepts it presents are thought provoking, but inconsistent.

Cover of the Mists of Avalon
Its basically a feminist version of the Arthurian legend. In some ways it is somewhat interesting, but a lot of parts are ruined by almost preachy feminism.
