Saints Row 2
DISCLAIMER: To call this a review would be a misnomer. It is nothing more than a love letter.      At first I wanted to write a comprehensive and traditional review of Saints Row 2, …

The Latest Poll I Made
Since there's no way to just post a group notification I'm resorting to this. I accidentally deleted the latest poll I created, "Which (Dead) JRPG Series Last Seen On PS2 Deserves Another …

(So tired of writing these Quick Tips) Since the Dreamcast held me back from getting a PS2, I didn't play this in its heyday. But what it did shamelessly well when I finally did get my hands on it was …

Final Fantasy IX
Underappreciated in its own time, but I liked it for what it was, a colorful 16-bit throwback. To me it had the most likable cast since VI. Unfortunately, at that point I had largely moved on to the Dreamcast, …

Final Fantasy 4
I played this looong after it was relevant, as in the last five years, so my view of it is extremely skewed, but damn if it isn't a fine, fine RPG that still holds up pretty well. Might have given VI …

Final Fantasy VIII

ey thanks for your recommendation on Metroid Prime, man. I'm impressed with what I've played so far. Seems the developers were both talented and big fans of the classic Super Metroid. It's cool how they expanded on the series mythos, especially in regards to the Chozo. Controls are a little wonky, but it captures that mood of isolation and desolation, even if the atmosphere isn't quite what Super Metroid was (so far, at least). Good stuff.
