My favorite mixed martial artist
1
Royce Gracie
The orginator of main stream Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. After seeing his fight against Matt Hughes i really obtained a understanding & respect for the art. Even though Royce lost the fight he was locked in a straight arm bar and he refused to submit with a straight face.
2
Anderson Silva
The real Spider Man. Anderson has excelled at every weight class he has entered and still has not been beaten since joining the UFC. He is definately the one of the most feared strikers in the sport today. For a glimpse of Anderson at work check out his fight against Forrest Griffin from UFC 101 right here.
3
BJ 'The Prodigy' Penn
I havent seen too many fighers with the skill & tenacity of a well conditioned BJ Penn. He is one of the few who have mastered Brazillian Jiu Jitsu in a short amount of time (Black Belt & World Champion within 3 years). Also BJ fights hard until he cant any more. With his new training regime i think that he will be demolishing his competition for a couple more years.

Gegard 'The Armenian Assasin' Mousasi
This fight enclosed from last weekends fight was the first time ive seen Gegard. And i loved every second of it. One word to describe this guy lethal. If you dont believe me check the look on his opponents face after the fact....
