Neko Case's Middle Cyclone
I love her sound and this new album is no exception.  I saw the first date of this tour too and it came across beautifully.  Her songs are great, her voice is wonderful, the total package.

Inhale with Steve Ross
This is my favorite, favorite yoga program on TV.  It's intense enough to still kick my butt even after dedicated practice of several years.  It's lively enough not to get boring.  It's …

Green Pans
I bought a whole set of these at a clearance sale a few months ago.  I had wanted to get rid of my teflon pans for a while but am a total mess when it comes to cooking without them.  The Green …

Anam's A Golden Age
Listening to books has pros and cons for me lately. The sound of the book was wonderful - the characters really come to life and the atmosphere was rich. But because I don't have large dedicated chunks …

State of Play
I very much enjoyed this movie.  Something about the inherent drama of the newsroom really set the stage.  The current day tie ins (insider politics, corporate conspiracies not to mention the …

Ferris' Then We Came To the End
This was a pretty funny book and I enjoyed it a lot (although in the spirit of full disclosure there is some foul language to move through). The narrator's omniscient "we" got a little annoying from …
The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a
I had read this book in 2005, but still found it completely fascinating a second time. I think the concepts he presents are so interesting and the anecdotes he uses are equally compelling. I also enjoyed …
Suite Française by Irène Némirovsky
Such a beautiful book, full of so much humanity. I've read more than a handful of WWII books, but most were focused on the Holocaust - reading about the German occupation of France was new territory for …
Armstrong The Bible: A Biography
This was a tough book for me to get through despite it's slim size. A good portion of it went over my head - not sure if it was the way she approached the subject or if I just didn't have my head in …

Lost
I watched this show faithfully from episode one, but found myself getting more and more exasperated as the plot continued to wind around itself.  I gave up in Spring 2008 and really haven't looked …

I liked your Lost review- I've heard that from a lot of people. I haven't seen it yet and am told that I definitely have to watch it from the beginning. @writer0213 completely agrees with you and @HealthyRache didn't love it at first but, she's addicted now...did you read the other reviews on Lost? You and your husband might get a kick out of it-or @HealthyRache has some great websites to help break the Lost code. She also has some great reviews that you might like on gaiam.com which has everything you need for Yoga and other reviews on yoga, eating healthy etc...

Hey Amber! Welcome to Lunch- I love your reviews, especially the one on Nickel and Dimed. It looks like you're getting the hang of Lunch. Have you read @Schtinky's review on how the economy makes America fatter?
