What fun these two films are. Hulk VS Thor starts out with Odin going into a deep sleep once a year at which time the forces of evil descend upon Asgard to try to destroy it. Every year, however, their efforts are thwarted by Thor, God of Thunder, whose power is just too much for the forces of evil. Loki however decides to use the Incredible Hulk against Thor by separating Bruce Banner's conciseness … more

I wasn't a fan of this version of Hulk. I much preferred the bruiser of Hulk VS who was just so powerful, so unstoppable, so unbelievable strong that he could beat a God to near death and still have the strength to battle the entire host of Asgard by himself. This Hulk was just so much weaker then the one in those films, and never reached that level of power.
For all of my childhood, Who Framed Roger Rabbit has been one of my favorite movies. Thankfully, it's another one of those movies that still holds up really well as an adult. 1988 was quite a year for animation. Out in Japan, Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, and Akira were released in theaters and were all superbly animated films that in scales from good to masterful, delivered storylines … more
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is thankfully, another one of those favorite movies from my childhood that still holds up really well as an adult. While the story itself is a little conventional, what made this movie such a joy to watch was its masterful fusion of live-action and 2D animation (which despite being 25 years-old as of writing this, still looks amazing today), hilarious gags, and … more
Despite being less-known than the Batman movies directed by Tim Burton, Joel Shumacher, and Christopher Nolan, I think Batman: Mask of the Phantasm beats all of them (especially the Schumacher movies, which are needless to say, blights to cinema). Being made by the same geniuses that created Batman: The Animated Series, all the strokes of genius in that show have … more
In 1992, Batman The Animated Series came around and changed just about everything we knew about animated television shows. Especially those based off comic books. The show itself has left a much bigger legacy than anyone could remember, including being commonly referred to as the greatest animated television series ever made. It's a shame then that the movie it spawned never … more
In my opinion DreamWorks has always played second fiddle to Pixar in the computer generated feature film genre. Their rivalry has existed for nearly as long as there has been a computer generated feature film genre! Pixar had Toy Story, DreamWorks had Small Soldiers. Pixar had A Bug’s Life, DreamWorks Antz. Pixar Monsters Inc., DreamWorks Monsters Vs. Aliens. Pixar … more
Was I the only one a little disturbed by the scene in the first Kung Fu Panda where Po's father told us the lineage of his noodle stand? You know, where he said he got it from his father, who got it from his father, who got it from his father, who were all geese? And in the fourth picture, the animal was finally changed, but it turned out the stand was won in a game of chance? And we wondered just … more
Batman: The Animated Series is probably the best case in my life where I simply liked a cartoon during its original broadcast run and through becoming an adult, I now absolutely love it and even consider it among the absolute best in the animation world. This show had it all: superb animation, tip-top voice acting (especially Mark Hamill as The Joker, you can't … more
Remember the 80's with movies like Masters of the Universe, Beastmaster 2, among others that took it's far out fantasy characters from another world, took them from that other world and dropped them into modern day Earth? How about other comic movies like Judge Dredd that remove the protagonist from his job and have him more down to Earth or less fantastic? Thats what sadly happens … more
Taking place on an alternate Earth, the leader of the Justice League, Lex Luthor, flees to the present day Earth. He contacts the Justice League for assistance to battle against an organization called the Crime Syndicate to save his Earth. The Justice League finds themselves in deadly battle against their opposite numbers. -summary When looking at these direct to DVD releases … more
Not to be confused with Crisis on Infinite Earth's. This is a solid movie that was meant to give fans of Justice League a nice fix. The plot was ok at best, but like it should be, it's the who's who gallery of superheroes and villains duking it out, and you get a damn good amount of that. Highly recommended if you love animation or superheroes.

Just finished watching this again just because and it's still just as fun as before. My only gripe is how Thor is practically manhandled and Wolverine puts up a better fight than he does, which is comepletely ridiculous. Oh well, I'll just re-read World War Hulk: X-Men to see Wolverine rightfully crushed by ol' Green Skin.

Another hilarious show that I tried very hard to never miss. There were so many insane episodes, crazy characters, and the wackiness never stopped. The most memorable character besides the Tick had to be the parody on the Punisher. I almost died when I saw that.

This is a show I would like to watch again from beginning to end, because I remember it being so freakin' funny. Nothing was sicker than watching Beetlejuice literally give his car a wax job, by digging in his ear and tossing out a blob of ear wax. Just too sick.

This was a very interesting and entertaining take on Batman. The first season was magnificent and hard to follow. The last two were very good to ok. Give this show a chance. Don't brush it off just because Bruce Wayne isn't Batman and his notorious rogues gallery is M.I.A.
This show has promise and will hopefully be renewed. Instead of the world bending for the plot in this version, the plot has to fit into a world which the characters were then created and placed into. There's a lot more intricacy, character building, and theme complexity in this version of Thundercats. It will pay off for those who are patient. The kids who watched the original Thundercats are grown … more
This is just one awesome series, and it's a comic book fans wet dream seeing these heroes hitting the TV screen. The action is bad ass, the stories are great, and the many homages and references to the original source material raises the fun factor for serious fans. If you're a fan of comics and haven't seen this series yet then you're missing out. It's also easy to get into for … more
I tried really hard to like this movie but just couldnt get into it. It had its moments like most movies do that really had my attention it just couldnt hold it. But i will say some of the dialouge from Thor in his time on earth is outright hilarious.
