True Blue
I like Baldacci's books, I'll just say that up front.  The plots are usually well-woven, and the characters are unique (see the Camel Club series).       True Blue …

The Postcard Killers
I have read many of Patterson's books, including the Cross series and the Women's Murder Club series. This is neither. This one is about a NYPD detective whose daughter and her boyfriend were …

Alexander Hamilton
Tell you what.  I just joined this History club, and a read several of your book reviews, and you all sound so erudite, that I thought I'b better write something better than what I'd just …
1960--LBJ vs. JFK vs. Nixon: The Epic Campaign

Nothing scarier than a Lurking Founder.
July 19, 2010
Just stopping by to say hello, and to thank you for all your contributions to Cafe Libri. I'm glad some of the reviewers didn't scare you away, including myself. I'm afraid I'm one of those people that write long reviews...mainly because I love writing, lol! My biggest critique by my fellow academics is that I need to learn to condense. I figure someday I will just need to get a really good editor to help me in that regard. ;)

Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, comments, etc. As the founder of Cafe Libri, I'm always lurking about.
