Pours a cloudy, obviously unfiltered copper with a tall, dense, very foamy head. The head slowly fades to a modest cover and leaves a small amount of lace. On the nose, there is a variety of sweet aromas - clove, spice, toffee and a miscellany of undefinable fruit flavours that are pleasing but lack the clearly identifiable citrus notes of some of the better known wheat beers. The flavour is moderately sweet throughout with a hint of bitter and spice. The aroma puts one first in mind of a wheat beer but the texture is really quite different. Definitely a beer I'd be happy to go out and buy again.
