Great Divide DPA (Denver Pale Ale) -- easily worth a try

How does it look? How's the color? Clarity? Head?

Amber and quite clear, very light head.

How's the nose (smell)? Sweet, spicy, fruity?

Very hoppy.  I also smell a distinctly oaky scent that seems a bit out of place.

How does it taste? Malty? Hoppy? Fruity? Chalky?

Nice hoppy bitters but balanced with just enough malt to make it smooth without being obvious.  There is also a slight oaky taste to match the smell and it actually works quite well.

Is it full-bodied? Medium bodied? Weak? Clean?

It is a medium bodied and clean beer.  The "cleanness" is the one draw back for me.  I like ales to have strong (and preferably complex) aftertastes.

Overall I would recommend anyone try it. It is not too strong for people that don't care for ales in general and not too weak for people that like stronger flavored and bodied brews.  I don't know that it will wow a beer snob, but I doubt it will disappoint.  Yes I would buy it again, but probably not at full price.
