A Quick Tip by drifter51

In what many would consider a shocking development Herman Cain won Saturday's Florida straw poll by a very wide margin garnering some 37% of the vote. So much for the charge that Republicans and conservatives are all racists! Cain received 37% of the votes cast outdistancing Texas Governor Rick Perry who received just 15% of the vote while MItt Romney could muster only 14%. In a quick tip on August 14 I indicated that I was extremely impressed with Mr. Cain and I have seen nothing in the past 6 weeks to change my view. He is an experienced businessman who has a very impressive resume. But what I love most about Mr. Cain is that he is an optimistic person who reminds me a lot of Ronald Reagan. With Rick Perry stumbling badly (as he should) I believe more and more people will be taking a second look at Herman Cain.

I totally agree with you. All through the debates, Cain has presented himself well and as someone who is not a loose cannon like some of the other candidates. I wonder if O'Reilly will stop telling Bernie Goldberg that Cain is not to be taken as a serious candidate and stop putting him with Ron Paul.

Very little is known about Herman Cain. I guess that will change in response to rising poll numbers.
