Hi Bob, thanks for joining the Windy City community. Excited to have you here and looking forward to any and all reviews or quick tips you have about Chicago. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions! Have you been to Jerry's yet? It's fantastic!:)

Hi Bob! You've got some great reviews up already that I'm really interested in. My best friend is currently *very* close to earning her Psy.D. with an emphasis in Christian Counseling from Fuller Seminary here in California. I think you might be interested in talking to @jachism or at least reading his great review on the Christian Writers' Market Guide. One of my favorite data points to follow right now is karma, because I think it's awesome that we can review things like concepts on Lunch rather than just products and places! It'd be interesting to review something like Charismatic Spirituality or even Christianity as a whole. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hi Bobkellemen, thanks for the friend request! It's great to see myself up on your similarity network. I just followed you so that I can keep up with all your great reviews here on lunch. On another note, I thought you might enjoy this review on the book Experiencing the Spirit, as well as this review on Christianity from @DorsiD. It's great to see you getting comfortable on the site - if you ever have questions, I'd be happy to help!

Most likely I'll get my Ph.D. in Education. I taught college broadcasting and journalism for many years while working as a talk show host, so it's a natural. I've also toyed with the idea of an M.F.A. That too, is a terminal degree and one I could use since I do an awful lot of freelance work. What do you think?? I guess it all depends on what I want to do with it. I'll read some of your reviews tonight.

Like you say, it depends on what you want. You are correct that the MFA is terminal. It also requires several years of supervised experience. My Ph.D. is in Counselor Ed, and it has been very useful. Let's keep connected. Bob

Hi Bob: Thanks for your friendship request.....much appreciated! I notice you're a midwesterner also. I too, live in the middle of the country..... St. Louis.....gateway to the west! I understand you have your Ph.D. I'm getting ready to work on my doctorate as well. Take care and I look forward to reading your reviews....

Donna, What will your doctorate be in? If I can be of any help along your educational journey, please let me know. Bob
