Hi folks. My blog is
A World View - Enjoying Walt Disney World. I actually think it was watching a
True-Life Adventure called the
Living Desert that started my enthusiastic love of Disney. I must have seen this every year I was in elementary school. Of course it started with the
Mickey Mouse Club which got me into
Walt Disney Presents (and its successors), which if that doesn't reveal my age nothing will. But it was the
1964-65 World's Fair that introduced me to technologies ("
Wow, I can see you on the telephone with this!") plus the awe and imagination that Walt Disney infused in that exposition. Then all those Disney cartoons and movies. So where else would Mary Ann and I go on our honeymoon but Walt Disney World two years after it first opened, and the adult love story began (both my marriage and my Disney affliction). Skip ahead to today, and I'm sharing all of this with an affinity group much like myself, who when people ask them why they like Walt Disney World they just turn and smile since it bears no logical explaination... we just "get it".
