A Quick Tip by Sharrie

  • Apr 22, 2011
Based on my initial assessment and interaction with its staff, Regus has excellent facilities and professionalism in its dealings. I'd have been totally happy if I had been given a full tour of the facility while waiting for the area manager to arrive. Yet, I wasn't given the tour even at the end of the presentation (possibly because I didn't have enough time as I was leaving for another appointment). Still, the earlier waiting of some 20 mins (the guy has to be sourced from another nearby center as the others in the same center was busy with other clients, I was told) could have been well made use of!

In any case, I'm still assessing and comparing with other businesses offering somewhat the same service. Regus has an advantage over the other 2 as it has a wide global reach and more centers around the world which is exactly what I'm looking for since I need to travel quite a bit. I'm specifically interested in the BusinessWorld membership. Anyone on Lunch has used it? Any good?

Hello Sharrie. My name is Josie and I am from the Social Media Team at Regus. Sorry to hear we missed the opportunity to give a full tour so I would like to set up a proper tour for you. Please pass your details to josie.tao@regus.com . Businessworld is a membership scheme which gives cardholders access to Regus facilities all around the world (1100+ locations!). For frequent travellers it means that wherever they are they can find a professional environment with everything they expect from Regus – lounges, offices, meeting rooms, facilities and IT. How you use the space, and how much, is completely up to you! For more information about businessworld visit our website: http://www.regus.com/businessworld/default.html?utm_campaign=forums

Thanks for your reply, Josie! I'd actually like a listing of the business lounges in the world (specifically, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Singapore & Thailand if I may) before I visit the Regus office sometime end of this month. Are any of the business lounges in the airport or are they simply those offices within the city limits (i.e. your city serviced office locations)?

Hello Sharrie. We do not have a businessworld lounge in every Regus Centre.  If you present your businessworld card, even if there's no lounge, our team will do their best to accomodate you. For the countries you identified, I would reccommend Hopewell Center in Hong Kong, Macau No.39, One Fullerton in Singapore, Aurora in Shanghai and China World Tower in Beijing. Hope this answers your question! Let me know if you need any other info.

Great! Thanks for the informative reply. I'll head to ICC tomorrow to check out more about it and also Macau 39 and One Fullerton the next few weeks!
