Hey Bri, thanks for the birthday wishes on FB and for the Otto DVD.
Did you ever get around to buying the Evelyn Evelyn album? Want me to burn you a copy?

As to the comment below, I'd like to point out that someone here doesn't even know what a fanboy is and that the film had no rape scene, but rather an attempted rape which was foiled. The movie was meant to be brutal as it was depicting antiheroes and not superheroes and it was subverting genre expectations to be ironic. The someone below is too literal-minded and naive to appreciate irony and would be far more willing to review films or books which he has not seen or read and hence when people criticize him for being ignorant of such subjects, he lashes out and blocks them, campaign votes against them, or derogatorily calls them "fanboys". And yet he calls others childish. Now, that's ironic! Interestingly enough, it was he who blocked me from his communities and un-friended me, yet continually posts comments on my content and in my community only to immediately leave said community so as not to be a member. Frankly, I don't have time nor energy for such egotistical, emotionally immature, and ignorant behavior coming from someone so insecure that they need to call attention to themselves by being rude and instigating conflict. So, if he wants to bad mouth me, then he has my email and he can do it all he'd like to there where his messages will go directly into the spam filter. But he can stay the hell away from my friends, my communities, and my content on this site.

No problem Orlok. You're indeed welcome! I do hope you will enjoy the film as much as I have & hope I didn't hype it up too much for you. I was glad that you had the chance to see it though & I'd be curious to your meticulous breakdowns even if it means we don't totally agree on every point. No hurries though. ;-) I was going to buy that album but...still have not. If you do want to burn me a copy, that will be fine & thanks in advance. I will eventually try to buy that. Have you heard any of Tori's new album which hits the streets on Tuesday? Oh, my Goddess!!! And it's on a classical label to boot. We must love our ladies who tickle the ivories, mustn't we? I didn't recall a rape scene either but a few sex scenes. I think the film implied rape at the very beginning if I recall but I don't think anything was actually shown. It was, in fact, an R-rating film so I don't see the problem with that material but to each his own.

Hi Brian! I've just started following your contributions, and I've added you as a friend. Feel free to follow my contributions in return. I figure this would be an easier way to stay connected with what you contribute here on Lunch. :)
March 31, 2011
Again, thanks for joining forces with me on Lunch and Facebook. ;-) It's always a pleasure to talk with you and I'm glad our paths continue to cross on the social networks. Thank you for getting back in touch with me and I'll try not to be a stranger around these sites any longer. Cheers!!
April 11, 2011
Sounds good to me, Brian! And the feeling is mutual. Feel free to send me any links to reviews you want me to read. Sometimes it's easy to miss them with all the activities going on via my various reviewing sites. :-P And I do apologize for the late responses. Been dealing with my sick father.

Hey, Brian, I know you're a Dario Argento fan, have you seen the movie "Giallo" directed by Argento which stars Adrien Brody? I saw it in stores but I wasn't sure if it was any good...
February 03, 2011
It's average in comparison to Argento's crowning work but I'd buy a used copy if you're interested. Supposedly, it's also out of print temporarily due to the lawsuit that Adrien Brody had filed in Los Angeles. If you like Argento films or Jodorowsky, Santa Sangre was just released last week so I highly recommend you buy this one.
February 21, 2011
Hey, Brian, heard of Faces of Death? The creator joined us here in the site: http://www.lunch.com/2_TwoJewsOnFilm
February 21, 2011
This is sweet!!! Did I tell you that I bought Chris and I box sets of Traces of Death in Cali? Forty bucks a pop and they sell for up to $200 on Amazon.
March 19, 2011
Hey, Brian, I promised you that I would give you a heads up if I see a horror film that I think you may like...heard of "Black Death"? Not for everyone, but I think you may like it....
March 29, 2011
Dude, we need to catch up on some stuff. No, I am not familiar with Black Death but the title just sounds too cool for school. Have you reviewed it or do you own this? ;-)

Hey, how was your Holidays, you sick-O who is the kind I like LOL! I hope you had a great Christmas and I hope you got all the crazy films as gifts since I want to see some more reviews!! :)
January 20, 2011
hey, Ceno....I am looking for that SALO review.... ;P
January 20, 2011
I knew you'd ask that. Just call me good. Well, I started on it but the Salo review is still in it's rough stages. It will come about though. Glad you remembered. ;-) How is Woopak?
January 20, 2011
That's great to know! I seem to have misplaced my Criterion copy of SALO so I am a bit bummed. I'm fine but just a little stressed out . Too much going on in my head....

ok....where are you again?
October 21, 2010
Hiya there Woo! It's been a long time since I had a moment to visit but I try to drop by on occasion. Hows everything on your end? Are there any depraved or just ingeniously sick films that I must watch? Hehe Talk to you soon I hope...
October 21, 2010
(sniff sniff) I feel lost without you or Christy to keep motivated in reviewing those perverted flicks (sniff)
October 25, 2010
Aww, I miss yhou too. I don't get to talk with our buddy Christy much since my phone was cut off but he's pretty active at Facebook right now in the horror community. I try to visit there as much as time allows. Speaking of pervy, you seen Malabimba yet? That should satisfy you're craving for a bit. Christy loves this too!!
October 25, 2010
Facebook has a horror community? I didn't know that. Nope I haven't seen MALABIMBA yet--my movie purchasing days have taken a downturn since last year. I'll take a look. By the way, thanks for joining our Movie Hype community you sick bass turd LOL! I want controversial content ok? ;)
October 25, 2010
Yep, the community was set up by Captain Insanity whom you may know from ammie. He and his wife also have a channel on youtube where they review the most current horror flicks. You should drop by sometime. I would say call me or text but my phone is temporarily disconnected. I'm not buying much in the line of films these days either but I might splurge next month for my 36th birthday. Maybe Necromentia? Or what is the Korean western called that you reviewed some time ago? I think it was just recently released on DVD in North America and I'm dying to see that one. Hmm. Controversial content? We'll see what we cook up. ;-) LOL
December 19, 2010
Yo! did you see that one of the Member Spolights 12/19/10 is you? Congrats, man!

Posted to cenobite7's profile December 05, 2010
Hi guy. Nice to see you even if it seems very peripherial these days. I've been trying to get your reviews into Movie Hype so that I could spotlight them in my B-Movies and B-Yond section, but for some reason they just won't go. If you find the time could you move them over there for me?
December 07, 2010
Hey Queen!! I miss all of you as well. I haven't had as much time to visit as I used to but I do enjoy catching up with everyone here when time does permit. I would be delighted to move any or all reviews to your Movie Hype. Do you have any specific titles that you prefer? I do take requests. ;-) It's good to hear from you as well.
December 16, 2010
Just any and all of the weirder titles--I want to introduce people to the joys of odd flix and you have a number of them.
December 17, 2010
Thanks Queen!! I wouldn't have it any other way. Many thanks to you and your dedication to the world of b-flix or the unknown gems. I appreciate all your hard work. Now perhaps films that we love will get a bit of exposure or atleast plant a seed in peoples' minds. ;-)
December 18, 2010
That's the plan! =)

Happy Halloween Brian! Where you at?
December 07, 2010
Sorry for the lull. Been away for a hot minute just trying to get some things in my life ironed out. How is everything going in your corner? What have you been up to?
December 07, 2010
Not much. You?

Posted to cenobite7's profile October 19, 2010
Hey Brian! Where've you been? I'm back on here and am missing my Ceno fix ;p I hope that life is treating you well and all that jazz!
October 21, 2010
Hey Sam! How goes it? I'm glad you remembered me so fondly and dropped by again. I haven't had as much time to visit Lunch as I once did but still make occasional visits to see what everyone is up to. Life is good and I'm staying busy. Say, I was in Cali during the month of May but I think everyone here is still quite a distance from L.A. unfortunately. Even so, it was a fun trip and I really loved Cali. What have you been up to?
October 21, 2010
Working like a dog, me and my fiance moved up to the Bay Area, I LOVE Cali too :), finishing school, planning a wedding in Santa Barbara in May....really busy! I'm glad you still check in and I'm happy to hear that life is treating you well. Don't be a stranger! Hugs ;p
October 25, 2010
Sounds like you're having a great time. I miss Cali. You're staying busy for sure but I'm proud of you for tackling this tall order and it's always a pleasure to hear from you. I don't recall if I told you but congrats on your engagement and I'm wishing you two much happiness and every great thing. Many hugs!! ;_)

Where you been, man? I dedicated a list to you and Christy and you never checked it out...
June 23, 2010
I hadn't spent much time online lately but I will gladly check out that list. Since they booted Christy, I haven't had a whole lot of desire to visit here. I mainly dropped by to say hello to you & Woops. Well, a few others. How are you?
June 23, 2010
Alright, I finally have a job, though I'm taking some time off due to an injured hand. Other than that, I'm good. What happened to your e-mail? I sent you a message on it and got a notification saying that you're account was no longer active.
June 23, 2010
June 23, 2010
Oh, a Tool list. Nice. Congrats on teh job. I'm still suffering from a needle botch when I was recently in the hospital. Now my arm has this freakish purple butterfly tattoo which is gradually fading. Never trust just any nurse to draw blood from your veins. Or vampires for that mattter. LOL
June 23, 2010
Actually, some vampires would probably be more gentle taking your blood than some nurses and doctors. LOL!
June 23, 2010
More than likely, you're probably right. Ha!
June 23, 2010
It's hard to say which are sexier stereotypes in films though. Not enough vampire nurses out there...
June 23, 2010
Good question. I will have to think on that one and get back to you. (Rubs arm)
June 23, 2010
LOL! Let me know what you think of that list of Tool songs. On the Blogger version, I also included the lyrics.
June 23, 2010
Christy once through the lyrics to a Tool song on here entitled Hooker With A Penis. Haha. I will drop you a few lines on that later on today man. Great choice for a list!
June 23, 2010
Yeah, one of the things that got him into trouble for some reason. Oddly enough they censored that despite the fact that it had nothing to do with either sex or prostitution.

You're finally back! Where have you been?

Posted to cenobite7's profile April 11, 2010
Looks like you've taken a hiatus from Lunch! Hope all is well with you!

Posted to cenobite7's profile February 23, 2010
Hey, man, where the heck have you been the last couple of weeks?
February 28, 2010
yeh. I'm not motivated to post controversial reviews without our sicko prez LOL!
February 28, 2010
Hopefully our sicko isn't actually sick or something.

Posted to cenobite7's profile January 13, 2010
where you at, Brian? We need sickos to unite and you're our Prez! LMFAO
January 22, 2010
Been on sick leave if you can imagine that. Appropriate wording, eh? Hehheh.
January 22, 2010
I think medical science cannot cure our sickness ;-) LOL
January 22, 2010
I do believe I'm well past the point of no return. Ha!
February 10, 2010
Brian, I'll be sending you the stuff next week. Been real busy packing, moving, unpacking and shopping! I'll catch up with you later.

Hey Ceno.
I just came up with a new idea for a feature on Lunch, but before I suggest it to J.R. I want to see what everyone else thinks. The idea is an interactive blog, which would allow people to write about something and would make it so you could talk about tags and genres instead of specific data points. Plus, you could post random thoughts as well. I'm thinking I would post some of my recipes and stuff. What ya think?
January 05, 2010
That's definitely an interesting concept Orlok. I think there are a lot of possibilities with that. Yeah, go ahead & run it by him. Did you know that now you can Orlok in 3-D? I'm sure you're already aware of it but I had to run that by you.
January 05, 2010
What do you mean by "Orlok in 3-D"?
January 06, 2010
The Murnau classic DVD is now available for purchase online IN 3-D. That should be interesting. I, myself, actually enjoyed the DVD with Type O Negative music some years back but this might be fun too. I thought you would be delighted to hear about it so I couldn't wait to share.
January 06, 2010
Well, honestly, I'm not sure what to think. I don't see how it would work as a black and white film in 3-D. Plus, as a purist, anyone messing with Murnau's masterpiece seems a little disrespectful. I'd have to see it to really make up my mind though.
January 06, 2010
I don't know. It might be fun. It could be construed as disrespectful but I think it's more of an attempt to pay homage or possibly to convert new moviegoers who are kinda sorta stuck in the whole 3-D kaleidoscope temporarily. If you should see it, let me know.

I loved "Where The Wild Things Are" as well. I was glad to see your Micro Review. (I would have posted this comment on your Micro Review, but I don't think you can do that.)
December 30, 2009
Thanks! I am making it a point to see this one very soon but I don't know when I will get around to it unfortunately. I tried leaving some feedback on another micro once but couldn't figure out how to do so. You cna either post a comment on their profile or write another micro under their micro. Heh. Glad to hear from you. I'm pretty stoked about seeing that one.
December 30, 2009
Oh, my mistake, I thought you'd seen it already. Well, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Have yourself a laugh... djevoke's latest review.
December 30, 2009
This is too cool for school. It just sorta explains why I don't buy that many hip/hop, r&b or rap records anymore. The lyrics are just downright shameful yet the artist seems to feel no shame. I'd never been so ashamed to be a North Carolinian until Fantasia Barrino recorded a song called "Baby Mama" some years back. I actually live in High Point & knew some of her family (neighbors) but never met her. Don't get me wrong. I like all kinds of music but am sadly disappointed in most albums that have been released in the past 15 years.

Posted to cenobite7's profile December 21, 2009
Hey, Brian, I dropped a review for our very own Orlok! Check it out when you get the chance...
December 22, 2009
hey, Brian, what do you think of my micro-review of you?
December 22, 2009
Ha! I must've somehow overlooked that one. Thnks a million bro. Heh Ask him. That's funny.

Posted to cenobite7's profile December 14, 2009
Hey, Brian, I just dropped a review for violent German and French thrillers, plus a Korean horror drama...I think you'll dig them! I still have 2 review drafts saved here too...been going strong since I know the closer the holiday gets the less time I'll have for the site.
December 16, 2009
Sweet! Will try to leave you some feedback very soon. It's been a busy week & I'm kinda behind on some stuff but I will try to read them soon. The closer it gets to the holidays, the less everyone sees of me. Especially Lunch. ;-)

Posted to cenobite7's profile December 11, 2009
@djevoke says that the coquito is really good, too.  Looks like I'm going to have to try it out! :)
December 11, 2009
Very, very good. In my opinion, the rum & the coconut makes all the difference. You almost don't want to drink the standard American Egg Nog anymore after you try this. DJ Evoke knows her stuff. Let me know if you should make this or try it during the holidays. ;-)
December 11, 2009
Will do! :)

Posted to cenobite7's profile December 01, 2009
I just dropped a list for my favorite works of classical, opera, and ballet. Check it out, yo!
December 01, 2009
Great! I will definitely check them out sometime. Sounds like a winner!
