Giacomo Antonio Domenico Michele Secondo Maria Puccini was born onDecember 22, 1858 – November 29, 1924. An Italian composer famous for his operas. Notable works include La bohème, Tosca, Madama Butterfly and Turandot. Some of his arias, such as "O mio babbino caro" from Gianni Schicchi, "Che gelida manina" from La bohème, and "Nessun dorma" from Turandot, are very popular in recent times.
