This coffee is without a doubt some of he best that I've ever had. There is not even a hint of bitterness; and while I've always poked fun at those who drink their coffee black, I have to say that this is one coffee that I could, if necessary, see myself drinking exactly that way. I could not imagine any coffee costing close to $20 for one bag, but I would have to say that this coffee would be worth it.
My only criticism would be that I received only 1 10oz bag...not the 3 as indicated. If price is not a factor for the consumer, this coffee is a definite winner.

Mmmmm, this must be pretty amazing if you gave it a +5! I love coffee, so I'll have to find this. Thanks for sharing, Danay! :)
I've had many brands of flavor coffee, and the Melitta Cafe Collection Vienna Roast Ground holds up well against the others. It's very smooth and pleasant, with dark nutty flavor. It's jammed packed with a delicious rich flavor that's so good, it doesn't need anything added to it, except maybe a little sweetener. There is however one issue other than the bag being difficult to open - It tastes really terrible cold. I do enjoy iced coffee every now … more

About this product
Wiki
Melitta coffees are made with only the highest quality 100% Arabica beans from Central and South America. Melitta uses only high altitude beans that meet stringent European prep standards. These beans are roasted and ground extra fine to ensure a rich, smooth taste with no bitterness. Once roasted, these beans are immediately vacuum packed in heavy 3-ply film to preserve their freshness and maximize shelf life. Our quality control department thoroughly tests each production run, from bean to cup, to ensure that our high standards are met time after time. The result is an exceptional and satisfying full flavor cup of coffee.
