Not being a fan for the comic book films or video game films (both of which seem to dominate the theater screens today) this viewer watched X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE on one of those 'there is nothing else on TV to watch' evenings. The one thing that always intrigued me the most about the X-men was the back story of Wolverine. Who was he originally? Where did he come from? And why do him and Sabertooth have a grudge against each other?  I have never been more divided with a movie in my life. I both loved and hated this. Sometimes, the things I hated at the start of the movie I would love by the end. The X-Men movies were great. I personally loved all three and a fourth movie, even though it was technically a prequel, was wholly welcome. For fans of the X-Men, Wolverine was a movie way overdue. While the film has gotten mixed reviews already (seeing as the movie leaked over a month before it was released), I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Before starting my review I just want to say that I have never read an X-Men comic. What this means in relation to this review is that other than watching the X-Men cartoon growing up (and the other X-Men movies of course) I am not well versed on the X-men mythology.
