What better way to keep the horror theme going then with this classic cinematic tale in comic form, a new story though of course. This one starts out with Leatherface after some poor helpless girl [of course] and then jumps into some guy and girl heading threw Texas. I was actually surprised by how entertaining this comic was, I enjoyed reading this and wanted to head straight into the next issue.
The story follows two young adults on their way to Florida from California as they pass threw Texas. They come across a lot of interesting characters including a sheriff and a crazy guy at a gas station who blasts his way threw some nice guy with a shotgun at one point. Of course that isn't all that this comic has to offer but that does add a nice little touch to it. Writers David Schow and Mort Castle really did a good job with this story and kept it interesting. I could not wait to get into the next issue and see what would happen, and all those who worked on the drawing and colors did a remarkable job, every thing looks great. We get to see glimpses of Leatherface but those glimpses are great and gory, got to love that. The fact that he isn't smeared all over every page adds to the suspense of what is going to happen to these two.
This was a very entertaining comic and worth a purchase if you ever see it out some where, I recommend it.
