As a Dating and Relationship coach, one of the recurring themes I assist my coaching clients address is feelings of loss and abandonment, much of which stems from our teen years. Can you relate?

Gary Chapman is the best selling author of the classic relationship communication book which every married and life partnered couple needs to pick up, read, and implement, The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate. He takes the same principles of BOTH how we RECEIVE LOVE and how we EXPRESS LOVE into the hammer packed busy scheduled hormonally stimulated world of teenagers. The social pressures on teens keeps mounting annually. Kids' schedules are robbed of family time and real heart-felt loving communication and relationship time as they race from school commitments to dozens of extra-curricular commitments, all the time, texting and instant messengering each other... and their hearts are still starved.

Many adults as they read this, feel heart pangs of loss over the communication of love they didn't receive when they were young. Not only does this book serve to help them identify that, it then provides adults and teens with the heart felt loving communication skills to do better going forward in family love relationships.
