Pros: storylines; cast; the warm and fuzzy feeling you get when watching it
Cons: The episodes with cousin Oliver
I am a Brady Guru, and I'm proud of it. I grew up on reruns of Bobby, Cindy, Peter, Jan, Greg, Marsha, Carol, Mike and, of course, Alice. I laughed when Jan made up a boyfriend named "George Glass," winced when Marsha got hit with the football and worried when Tiger was lost. Heck, I wanted to BE a Brady.
For those of you that don't know, The Brady Bunch is a show from the 1970s surrounding a big step-family. Mike and his three boys get together with Carol and her three girls. The boys and the girls are relative the same age. For example, Cindy and Bobby, Jan and Peter, Greg and Marsha. I always thought it would be neat to have a brother close to my age. Since the family is so large, they rely on housekeeper Alice to maintain a bit of order. Let's not forget about Alice's sweetheart, Sam the Butcher!
There's always a lesson to learn at the end of an episode, which usually ends up with Mike and Carol talking to the child with the problem in Mike's office. People always say that nothing is learned from television, but I tend to disagree. Manners and courtesy is always very important on The Brady Bunch.
Now, on to why I call myself a "Brady Guru." I know virtually everything there is to know about The Brady Bunch. I've read the books, seen the movies and watched every single episode at least once. Frankly, this show makes me happy. I even know some useless trivia about behind-the-scenes Brady Bunch. For example, did you know that the two-story house the Brady family lived in was actually a one story house that the crew built a staircase in? Did you know that there were at least 3 different dogs that played Tiger?
The Brady Bunch is an American tradition when it comes to watching television. Growing up, I wouldn't miss an episode. It's a show that the entire family can enjoy.
By the way, I absolutely adore Davy Jones, just like Marsha.

What do you get when you cross three boys, three girls, a mom, a dad, a housekeeper, a dog, a cat and some really wacked-out clothes from the 70s? Only one of the most famous TV shows of all time! Yes, it's The Brady Bunch! Originally on TV between 1969 and 1973, this show set the standard for the Darlings, the Macks, and probably a whole bunch of other goofball TV families that haven't even been born yet! So join Marsha, Greg, Jan, Peter, Bobby, Cindy, Carol, Mike, Alice, Tiger and Fluffy for some seriously silly sitcom fun!
