I've heard that people don't really like this game and that it was like a "prototype". I, personally, think that it's a really good game. I haven't tried the other AC game's, but I soon hope to get AC2.

My favorite thought about playing the original Ratchet and Clank was, "Finally, an actually, honest to god mind numbing action title!" Thankfully, it turned out to be more than a hiccup. While I admit nostalgia may colour my perception of this game, to me this is one of the best platformers ever released, while nowadays it might be a bit easy for some gamers, the music, the artstyle, the 'wacky' level design, it all came together to form one amazing experience. I would say this is most certainly one of the greatest puzzle games out there, and like all the great puzzle games it has a simple premise with fantastic gameplay. You control a beach-ball, and you have to collect keys to unlock the exit. The catch is you have to negotiate your way through bizarre 3D structures avoiding traps and other assortment of hazards.
