Get Dancing with Happy Feet Wii Game

  • Dec 12, 2006
Pros: Fun dancing game

Cons: Movement sensing is not perfect

This game for the Nintendo Wii really take advantage of the new Wii technology. You use the controller to do dance moves and for more fun you can do the foot moves yourself. The game also includes parts were you steer the penguin to swim away from a leopard seal and sliding on his belly. This is a great game for kids to play and is appropriate for kids once they know how to use a Wii controller. The dancing part can get a little frustrating with it sensing your movement. It seems to sometimes not recognize it if you move right and move it back towards the middle too fast. Also, make sure you do not go too crazy dancing and end up too close to screen, as then the sensor will not see your controller. Another thing is if you are really going to dance make sure the space around you is clear of stuff (and people) you could run into. This is a great game to play when it is too cold, rainy, or hot to play outside and it allows the kids to burn off some of their energy.
