Prince of Persia Delivers a Beautiful Gaming Experience Like No Other Game Before It

There is a really good reason why Prince of Persia is up for game of the year. It is truly one of the best games I have ever played and...watched.

IGN wrote a very factual review of this game when they said it was one of those games that you will hold with you for a long time. The gameplay is very smooth and the score and voice acting is just as good. It's not like past Prince games; the gameplay has gotten a lot easier which allows for smoother gameplay. This isn't to say that this game isn't challenging...it is, but it keeps you plugged in and interested about what has happened to this world and who this Princess really is.

Another huge difference in this game is the fact that you can never die. If you fall off something or an enemy is about to kill you, Elika (The Prince's new companion and in my opinion, the main character of the game) is always there to save you. There are two benefits to this. 1. It beats having to reload the game.  2. It doesn't make you want to quit like you want to when you die in a game. Also, the world itself is just beautiful. If you play this game, take the time to talk to Elika, learn about her and the world and just look at it because it really is a masterful job of graphics and openworld gaming tech. It's truly not worth playing if you aren't going to take the time to look at it.

The one and only beef I had with this game is the same beef everyone else had with it...The Prince. he is just straight up annoying. Throughout the whole game, you really don't learn anything about him and the things that come out of his mouth are just plain arrogant and conceded. Also, he really isn't a prince which I didn't get. It also hurt when right about the time you think he's going to say something smart, he turns it into sarcasm...ugh.

I also was going to have a little beef with the ending when Elika died. That was until I realized that throughout the whole game, there are little hints that let you know that she is going to die at the end and then I was ok with it because it made sense.  After she dies though, There is a secret way to bring her back to life, but I will let you figure that out.

The Prince does not take away from me giving this game a 5/5!
