Mega Man's 4th outing plays as good as Mega Man 3, but without a lot of the newer touches but compensates with a much higher challenge. Underrated by large but didn't offer much different.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Mega Man started the ball rolling, Mega Man 2 improved the production and length of play and 3 perfected the controls and added even more levels. Mega Man 4.........by and large keeps things on that level, but doesn't add anything all that spectacular. The year is 2XXX something, and Mega Man has a new mad scientist to deal with in Dr. Cossack whoes own robot creations will threaten mankind and Mega Man and his trusty sidekick dog Rush are out to stop him. … more
