Metal Gear Solid was one of those rare games to completely blow my mind. The opening act unfolds just like a movie and I remember how awesome I thought that was. The story is very good and the game features some of the coolest boss battles in gaming, such as the sniper battle with Sniper Wolf. This is another game I wish I could play again for the first time.

I know several folks who could never get into the stealth aspect of them. I know how they feel to, but it was the story and the characters to grip me so much. Does your brother review too?

This here is what started it all for me. After playing this game i couldn't wait for the next installment. I've since then beat all the Metal Gear Solid titles. Each one very enjoyable in its own right. You should definitely play this game at least once if your a gamer or your someone looking to get into a fantastic story driven series.

Pros: Cool plot, characters, and weapons. Unique gameplay style and layout. Voice acting the best around.     Cons: Weapons are next to useless, very little replay value, some area are annoying as hell.     The Bottom Line: It's a must rent for a weekend, but it's too short and has too little replay value for me to give it top honor.     You'd think after getting their butts whupped time and time again by game players like us, terrorists …
