Built upon and improved greatly on the old NES space exploration game with more ammo, power ups and an easier time navigating and powering up and it can still be a challenge. Lots of hours have been killed on this classic.

I have fond memories of beating Super Metroid on Super Nintendo. The graphics were amazing for its time (and still hold up on medium-sized TVs). The amount of detail and complexity of the planet Zebes still boggles my mind. If you've beaten Metroid Prime and want more, I definitely recommend downloading this game from Wii's virtual games menu and trying it out.
