10 Weirdest Websites

  • Nov 23, 2010
Ever bored at work? Don't worry, I won't rat you out to your boss! Well, if you have a penchant for the bizarre, strange or weird, I've got a list of 10 of the weirdest websites out there. This should keep you amused until lunch ;p And by all means, if you have a few to add feel free to let me know what I've missed!
1
Marmaland
The world's first (are there others?) online museum dedicated to Marmalade. There is also an actual location in the UK in a secret location which to me kinda defeats the purpose. But, you know what they say different strokes....In the words of the proud Marmaland website owner, "We regularly scour on-line auctions, and rifle the cupboards of the elderly to fuel our shared marmalade obsession."
2
Patently Absurd Archive
Ever want an Alarm Fork- a fork patented to literally give you the green light to eat so that you don't become fat? How about a Human Car Wash- where you can bathe en masse after an atomic bomb (as the inventor advertised in 1969)? Can't make it to Tahiti and want to go snorkeling? Try the Toilet Snorkel! You get the idea and the truth is I could probably spend all lunch hour on Patently Absurd Archives...pretty fascinating stuff!
3
Eccentric America
Tired of the same ol' tourist guides telling you about some dull historical fact that you have no interest in? Eccentric America is definitely not that. This website for the Eccentric America guide will give you the heads up on when you can catch the Redneck Games, SPAMarama, or the Alien Museum. When you go to the site, check out the Regional Highlights section for some interesting facts about USA.
4
Duct Tape Guys
Wonder of wonders....there's a website out there for all things duct tape! There's Duct Tape Fashion, a shop, Duct Tape auto repairs and, for a fee, The Duct Tape Guys will come to you!
5
VeryGross.com
Do you love to pick your nose and flick it at people? If so, here's the site for you! On VeryGross.com, you can email your loved ones vomit, boogers, and farts...you know just like your own version of that Stevie Wonder song, I Just Called to Say I Love You?
6
The Daily Weird
For your daily fix of the world of weird, here's The Daily Weird. Folders on kids' heads to keep them from cheating, a guy shaving on a roller coaster, and a man with a face but, no head (yeah- you have to see it!) and that's just in the last week.
7
Weird Universe
The name says it all. On Weird Universe, there's Bacon Drink tabs (for all you bacon addicts!), Flush Tracker (for you to track your poop), stop motion breakdancing, some incredilby large turbans, and some weird news.....if you're not intrigued by now, I don't know what to tell you!
8
Asylum
Go to Asylum.com and discuss important things like the 9 Most Unintentionally Terrifying Kid's Shows, watch a couple document their lives as Stormtroopers, or, as we discussed earlier you may be looking for a new job, learn How to Make a (Good) Living As a Human Lab Rat!
9
Mysterytopia
Are you one of those people that love to impress people at parties with your endless knowledge of random, useless facts? Mysterytopia is the place for you! Did you know that Buzz Aldrin's mom's maiden name was Moon or that the largest toy distributor in the world is McDonald's? You can use those on your date tonight but, be sure to let me know if you get asked out again!
10
Oddee
Last but, most definitely not least, Oddee.com! It's only fitting that on a list of weird stuff, I include a website that has the weirdest lists on the web. Go to Oddee.com and you'll find such goodies as: 17 Most Extreme Scarification Tattoos, 15 Funny Facebook Fails, 18 Hilarious Photobombs, 10 Most Bizarre People on Earth and much, much more!

What did you think of this list?

Hah, sweet list! I used to check Oddee a while ago, but then forgot about it. Time to RSS that baby!
December 02, 2010

Okay, who in their right mind would go to a website in order to track their own human waste as it traverses the sewer system? Seriously, that's nasty!!! NASTY!!!
November 30, 2010
Ummm....THANK YOU!
November 30, 2010
Out of curiosity, how did you find out about all of these?
December 01, 2010
I actually did a combo of Googling it and asking a bunch of my friends that send me stupid websites all the time lol....
December 01, 2010
And here I thought you'd set a contest at work to see who could find the weirdest sites. LOL!
December 02, 2010
Now THAT would've been a good idea!

nice list of things to check out. I think uncyclopedia.org should be on here. Maybe I'll make my own list.
November 23, 2010
Please do! I'd love to find out some other fun sites to surf :) Thanks for letting me know about uncyclopedia- checking it out now!
November 23, 2010
No problem. Careful where you go on there, as the site says there are many flimsy excuses to get nudity on thesite. I did a review of it on lunch.
November 23, 2010
I saw that! I liked the Did you know portion...because no, I didn't know any of that!
