Best Warm-Weather Wines $10 and Under

In this recession, we can't completely rob ourselves of all of our pleasures. We just have to learn how to economize them. Here is my list for the best cheap wines to enjoy on your patio this summer! Enjoy and feel free to add your own- I love suggestions!
Harmony cellars
I discovered this blush when visiting with a friend that lives in Morro Bay. I'm definitely not a fan of blush wines but, it was part of our tasting and highly recommended. This is DELICIOUS and cheap, it's the epitomy of summer wines to me. Price: $9
Harmony cellars
This is another wine I discovered at Harmony Cellars with my friend. I really like light wines for a summer's day and this one is perfect! It blends Chenin Blanc, White Riesling and Chardonnay all for $10.
Columbia Crest Sauvignon Blanc
I got this out of Simple Magazine, as I did some of these wines and decided to give it a whirl. It's a perfect white, crisp, fresh wine that's perfect for fruit or salads. Price: $8
My favorite all-around Sangiovese. I love the earthy, full-body flavor of this wine and it's perfect with steak or any other meat you'll throw on the BBQ! Price: $7.50
Gazela Vinho Verde
It's a young lemony wine with a bit of fizz to it, perfect for shrimp, lobster or my fave summer meal, a crab feed. Price: $7
Chateau St Michelle Riesling
This is my boyfriend's all-around favorite. As a white wine guy, he doesn't like the heaviness of a typical Chard and loves this Riesling as a light, slightly fruity alternative. I like that it's not as heavily fruity as other Riesling's I've tasted. But, if you're a die-hard Woodsbridge Chard fan, you might not like it. My mom is one and she said it was too fruity for her. Price: $6
Cava Brut
Ah yes...we do need a champagne on here, don't we? This wonderfully creamy Spanish version goes perfect with EVERYTHING! And who doesn't like a little bubbly by the beach? Price: $10
Mas Carlot Rose
When I first saw this bright red wine, I thought YIKES! But, it's light and juicy that has perfectly blended notes of strawberries and spices. So, another one that's not too overpoweringly fruity. Price: $10
St Francis Red
This delish red is a blend of FIVE red grapes, mostly Merlot, and berries, cherries, and a multitude of fruit flavors. Perfect for the BBQ! Price: $10
Trapiche Malbec
This red is so good and is rich with blackberries and plums, making this Malbec a force to reckon with any red meat hot off the grill. Price: $9
