At the same time when I picked up the Clorox Toilet Wand Kit, I decided to get a box of the Toilet Wand Refills. For some reason, I just had a feeling that this would be my new toilet cleaner of choice. Well, I have second thoughts on that now, but I won't take away that the product does have some use.
The Clorox Toilet Wand Refills comes in a very light box with 10 refill heads wrapped up in plastic. To prepare them, just simply open up one end of the plastic and place it in the caddy. The box has the instructions on the back in both English and Spanish. For those who don't know, the purpose of the Toilet Wand is to scrub the toilet, and hit those hard to reach corners that accumulate large amounts of disgusting residue, that will give your toilet a bad odor. The product emits a blue soap-like substance that will change the water into the same color. It easily erases those brown stains that appear, and depending on the build up, you will see the rest of the mildew in the corners of the toilet break up and run down into the water. The octagon shaped head of the applicator makes this possible.
Although it's a good product that leaves your toilet looking clean and it's very easy to use. My problems which I have already stated in my review of the kit is still the same. I'm not too crazy about the once and done thing, and the fragrance it gives off is too faint to notice.
The original product comes with 6 heads, this box comes with 10. This means that the product should last you 16 weeks if you clean your toilet once a week. That's great if you're living alone with no visitors ever. But I have to clean my toilet more than this, and I usually do it about 3 times a week, no less than that. So this product is a waste for me and I'm going right back to the old school toilet brush and small drops of Pine-Sol. The Pine-Sol lasts me far longer than 16 weeks that's for sure. The product also doesn't give off a very noticeable and pleasant smell. I need my bathroom to smell like royalty, and I need a product that I know for a fact drives away the bugs.
Personally, this is a decent product that I would use if it was the only one on the shelf. It's not a bad product, it just isn't good enough for me. But hey, try it out anyway, you just might like it more than I do.
The product is said to be loaded with Clorox Cleaner, and in addition, powers through stains and kills 99.9% germs. These are the germs it's said to kill; Organisms; Salmonella Choleraesuis, Staphylococcus Aureus, Influenza A, Human Coronavirus, Rhinovirus type 37.
Pros: -Easy to use, easy to dispose
Cons: -Not crazy about the once and done deal

When I live alone and with no cleaning lady, this is sooooo my product. I'm impressed by your 3x a week cleaning though. It's more like 1x a month for me :P Great review!

Thanks.
Cleaning lady? Wow, you must be loaded! My home has to be clean often, I just can't stand roaches and strange smells coming out of nowhere.
