I was quite impressed by the coverage this little task light provided. As shown in the accompanying video, the light easily covers 2 full pages of a large hardback book. It has a clip that can be used with an e-Reader or with a paper book such as I used in the video demonstration. It can also sit by itself, which I think would be wonderful for crafters, especially those who do fine needle work. I can definitely see myself using this light in a number of ways beyond reading (sewing, setting up electronics where you need a hands-free light, etc.).

The product is amazingly lightweight without batteries and still pretty light with batteries, so weight shouldn't be a problem when reading in bed and other places where you may be holding the book vs. having it laying on a table.

I really loved that it had two settings of light because the high setting is REALLY bright and I can see where it could be too much light if one was reading or studying for a long period of time. I found the lower setting less glary.

NOTE: This product does NOT come with the three AAA batteries needed for operation.
