Tim Ferriss'The Four Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join the New Rich  is a proactive book on how to perform work more intelligently. In the process, a much higher state of efficiency results in people working less and getting a higher yield from the work that they complete.

A major theme of the book is to beat the system by concentrating on high yield work product results. Achievement of large goals can bring an adrenaline rush. These techniques have been applied to weight loss; such that, people have been known to lose 28 pounds in only 18 hours. Ferriss teaches that readers should identify the twenty percent of sources that yield eighty percent or a plurality of the desired results. This is strategic management at its best.

Another management technique is to shorten drastically the budgeted completion time to force the completion of a project. Sometimes, this method yields results although more monitoring may be required to verify that crucial steps are not omitted.

Ferriss advises readers to sell merchandise within the $20 to $200 price range. In addition, internet sources are provided to assist in running a business more optimally.

Products to be sold may be located at cj.com, clickbank.com and amazon.com/associates. Alibaba.com is the largest business to business marketplace. Booktango.com will e-publish books for free. The sales are made through all major online retailers. Free conferences can be arranged at nocostconferences.com. Wufoo is a web application that helps visitors create professional online forms. Wufoo facilitates the forms design, database building, the backend and scripts needed to collect and interpret data.

The Four Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere And Join The New Rich can get readers started on essential elements involved in generating traffic for new websites or sites in a developmental stage. The contents are easy to understand and implement. Lastly, the price is affordable for the general public, small and large businesses alike. This book is not a complete get rich quick scheme.
Readers will be required to manage building a website and product dissemination.

This is a good book to start on the road toward building a small web business. The elements are a reasonably up-to-date computer and internet.

Much of the rest is outlined by Tim Ferriss. You need a great product , book or idea to sell, as well as the software support described in this book. I really like the websites cited for starting this whole process including free software.
