I LOVE SLITHER, and BEHIND THE MASK: THE RISE OF LESLIE VERNON turned out to be a lot smarter and funnier than I thought it would be. Funny horror movie always score big points with me. Do you really like ARMY OF DARKNESS better than EVIL DEAD 2?

Yeah, I enjoyed Evil Dead 2... but surprisingly liked Army of the Darkness better. I know it's shocking because most people enjoyed Evil Dead 2 more. Army of Darkness had more "variety" and was more of a "complete" movie to me. Also, I actually saw "Army of Darkness" before Evil Dead.... so that might sway my vote too :)

Unfortunately for me Sam Raimia showed almost 25 of the best minutes of ARMY at a convention I went to in LA before the film's release. When I finally saw the completed film it was a real anti-climax for that reason.

nice list! have you seen the full 90 minute version of DUMPLINGS in the 2nd disc of 3 Extremes? Pretty cool. If you liked "DEVIL'S BACKBONE" make sure you check out "The Orphanage"...great ghost story!

Yeah, if you haven't seen the "The Devil's Backbone"... you must! Especially if you like 'Guillermo del Toro' movies. He also directed "The Orphanage" and "Pan's Labyrinth" among others.

Heck yes! It's such an amazing classic. I totally want to spend the night at the hotel that the book/movie was based on. It's the "Stanley Hotel" in Estes Park, Colorado... Red Rum! Red Rum! ;)
