If you need to know the definition of perfection, going to In N Out would be a good place to start. I have never had a bad experience at this "fast food chain, everytime I eat here it's "the best burger I've ever had," not to mention, the price is right! This review was written because today my boyfriend and I went to In-N-Out. So what is the significance of that? Well, I freakin' LOVE In-N-Out burgers! In N Out was something I grew up around and never fully experienced. It would be sometime before I would get to try one again and when I did I wondered where those lost meal opportunities went toward? Best burger on the planet? Could just be. It is not an overstatement to say that In 'n' Out burger has achieved So Cal icon status. In 'n' Out recently celebrated its 60th anniversary and they haven't aged a bit! Same delicious food and great service that I remember getting back in the '70s and same great value for your money! Carl's, Sonic, Jack, Mickey D's... they all pale in comparison to the beauty we call In-N-Out. In-N-Out uses all fresh ingredients--from the soft bread to the fresh tomatoes and lettuce, from the awesome beef to the "special sauce" (we all know it's Thousand Island). It's been almost 10 years since I had the pleasure to sink my teeth into one of the most delicious burgers I've ever tasted. After a week traveling from one city to another then hitting Los Angeles a colleague of mine insisted we had to go get an In-N-Out Burger. Glad we did. While the lines were a bit long and there was little in terms of seating, after eating sandwich after sandwich for lunch every day (or nothing at all) the idea of a greasy burger and fries was most appealing. Being born and bred in sunny Southern California, I have the fortune of being a veteran of the In-N-Out experience. You're not going to have the option of a chicken sandwich or nuggets. No fish sandwich, no mozzarella sticks. Just burgers, fries and drinks (and don't forget the awesome shakes). They never freeze any of their food. The burgers are tasty. Even though it is considered to be fast food, most people refuse to accept this fact and go time after time to eat their burgers, fries, and shakes.
