I'm usually thinking out of the box. I have been a homeschooler for about 15 or so years with 3 children in college, 1 dual enrolled in highschool. I ran my own business as a family entertainer / birthday party clown for about a decade. In the process of getting a divorce I shut down that business and went back to school. I graduated with a physics degree, presented my research on a the state and national levels at the Alabama Academy of Science and the American Physical Society . Won awards at both conferences. Now I work as a physicist full-time. The family homeschools and I have started writing a book "Starting Over - Life After Divorce- One Woman's Victory" which I hope to have published. I have also started going to high schools and colleges and speaking about careers in math and science. I plan on sharing my story of survival of domestic violence to women's groups in hopes of inspiring other women who are in the same situation I came from.
