This community is about Science Fiction. We are the first community on Lunch to cater to the science fiction fan!
There is already a Star Trek community and all Star Trek-related material should go there.
Otherwise, the sky's the limit! TV shows, science fiction comedies (Galaxy Quest), science fiction horror (Alien), Star Wars and books, lots of book reviews! Lately we have been specializing in films and military science fiction novels. Keep it up!
Be sure you are up to date and write reviews as they come out. "Skyline" was not all that great, so I'm promoting "Tron 2". To be honest, I did not like the first Tron so I hope this is better! See Trailer...And in 2011 we're looking forward to Cowboys & Aliens, Battle Los Angeles and more! Great year for sci-fi!
Hey guys sorry i havent been here in so long. You know believe wahts happened to me in three short months anyways. Not to worry ive got two lists baking in the oven and I cant wait to share em with you.
So far only two reviews for Tron and the reviews are not good. However it has to be better than Skyline!

tron is infinatly better than skyline. Skyline was complete and total crap. you cant even compare it to battle L.A cause battle L.a was 40000 times better. Skyline was the definition of garbage. Sorry to snap like that.
I've been rereading Heinlein recently - anyone else? Just finished "Stranger in a Strange Land", "Starship Troopers" and "Methuselah's Children" and am really interested in the political parallels to today's world.... or maybe just society in general.

I've been rereading some Asimov Foundation stuff. Starship Troopers was so different than its film version. Thanks.

Hi Diane, I'm always rereading Heinlein, my favorite author out there. Stranger in a Strange Land is up for another read soon, it was my first Heinlein book and definitely a great one. I think I've read it in each decade of my life so it will be interesting to see what meaning it holds for me now. Feel free to talk to me about anything to do with Heinlein books, I think I have read them all.
Great community you've got going on here, Jim! Where are the featured topics at though? ;P

Thanks Devora! I muddled through that and handled it. I've been flowing love to the comics community as of late and with work and night school and reading and stuff, it's been a busy spring. My phasers are locked onto the Forbidden Planet and I will be posting some delicious stuff on there this weekend. :)
