What is your favorite science fiction novel trilogy? Why not write a review or quick tip of it? :)

I am sure I have several but two that come to mind are the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov and the Hominids Trilogy by Robert J. Sawyer. All three Sawyer books are reviewed by me in Lunch. I read the Asimov books about 20 years ago so it would be difficult to go back and remember the specifics of each one. I remember that Hari Seldon used a new mathematical science to predict the fall of the Galactic Empire. As the Empire falls it is gradually replaced by the Foundation. Asimov wrote those books in the 1950's and it was not until about 35 years later that he wrote 2 sequel books and then a couple of pre-quels.

Thanks. I read the later books and they just did not capture it as well as the first books did. I thought I read that Asimov didn't want to write them at first. I'm beginning to like Sawyer and McDevitt's novels now.
