I read the Time Traveller's Wife about a year ago. Yes, it is a love story, and as such it works. But it is that sort of fantasy fiction that I just can not connect to. This book was wonderfully written, with a unique styling of scenes. Clare Abshire met him when she was 6 years old. Of course, he was much older then, nearly 40. This was a book that I didn't think I would like, but gave it a try. I wasn't crazy about the whole time travel theme, but LOVED it!!! One of my favorite books ever. I have not seen the movie, so am curious how it transfers to the screen.
