Let me first start by pointing out that I am an atheist and do not believe in god at all. When I picked up this book out of curiosity over the title and it being the sci-fi section, I was not expecting it would be my type of book. Fortunately I took a chance and bought it and greatly enjoyed it.      The main protagonist of the story is a man who works at a museum as head paleontologist. He is an atheist, has a wife and a son, and is pretty normal overall. One day though aliens …

Best of the best. Good Toronto-based fiction. Tackles dangerous new ground. Great for believers and skeptics alike. Don't put this down. Proves my point: atheists make better questions (beginnings) than the indoctrinated, but have (of course) less satisfying answers (endings).
