As a wordpress member, I stumble across some interesting sci-fi blogs from time to time and, to be honest, some pretty lousy fiction. But then I came across a new series that JUST started called The Synth Oppression (thesynthoppression.wordpress.com).
It's a completely free, online sci-fi, mystery series in 25 parts, a new part published every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There's bonus content too. It kind of has the feeling of the space opera genre. The story follows the crew of an illegal mining/smuggling ship, but there's been a murder of one of the crew members.
Only 2 parts of the series have been published so far, so it literally just started. But I'm already crazy about it, and I think you will be too, especially if you start reading now, from the beginning. Check it out: thesynthoppression.wordpress.com
