Movies don't get much better than this.  This is what independent film making is all about.  Talk about a quotable movie!  "There is one in every car, you'll see."  Features a special acoustic cameo by the Circle Jerks long before "unplugged" became hip.  Also, it marks the film debut of Jennifer Balgobin.  So go eat some sushi and don't pay!

I know so many guys who just love this film. But why? Someone enlighten me!

This movie is incredible and incredibly overlooked as classic bemused coming-of-age fare. Midway between a mid-'80s John Hughes-style frustrated teen celebration and "Escape from New York," this film defies predictability even 25 years later. And can anything with Harry Dean Stanton not be awesome?
