A publisher from Doubleday once told me that at a press conference, they stacked copies of all of Asimov's books on a table. She said he couldn't be seen over the top of the stack. Very versatile, wrote amazing non fiction.

Like Heinlein, one of the all-time greats (although with an occasional mis-step along the way.) Don't miss his original "Foundation Trilogy".

Not always the most fluent author in the world. Nevertheless, we owe him far more than we could ever repay, and a lot of his work is enormous fun, so all is well.
