I think my +5 review does a pretty good job at explaining my feelings for mangosteen ;) Till I travel to Asia again, or am ready to shell out like, $7 for one at my local specialty supermarket, I'll settle for the freeze dried ones at Trader Joe's.

Mmmmm.... jackfruit! Fresh jackfruit is very expensive to get in the States, and even if I wanted to get them fresh, it'd be very hard to find, just like mangosteen. Thank goodness that they're available in cans, but nothing can compare to fresh.
I love the name of this fruit, as well as the aesthetics; it's hot pink with some green, and the inside is white with black polka dots! Makes a fruit salad extra gorgeous, and it's a great fruit for when I feel like I've otherwise consumed too much sugar, because dragon fruit isn't too sweet.
I use to hate durian as a little kid, but its grown on me over the years. A lot of people don't like it because it looks unusual and they can't stand the smell, but it doesn't bother me; in fact, I actually kind of like the scent. It has a soft, custard-y, pudding-like texture, and is pleasantly sweet.

Yes, I realize that tamarind does look a bit like doo doo, but trust me, it's good! It's sweet, and sometimes a little sour with a chewy, slightly gummy-like texture. The popular hard, tamarind flavored candy is pretty good, too.
I don't think I've ever had soursop fresh before, but their candy is oh so good, so I can't wait to try it fresh! During lunar new year, those who celebrate it tend to have out trays of sweets, and fresh soursop candy is one of them. It really is sour, but I like!
I've actually been seeing these babies at Ranch 99 for a long time, but I never read the name and just thought it was some sort of vegetable. I finally had it when I was in Hainan last year and loved it! It's like a slightly sweet, tangy cucumber.
